How it feels
An intense, overwhelming fear of specific objects or situations, which may be triggered by an actual or anticipated experience.
Specific phobias (e.g. fear of spiders, lifts, flying etc)
Social phobias (e.g. fear of public speaking, fear of blushing etc)
You may experience high levels of fear and anxiety, which lead you to restrict what you do and avoid certain situations in order not to trigger your fear or phobia.
